How often should grass be cut?
“The answer depends on various factors, including the type of grass you have and how fast it grows. Your lawn may need mowing every three days in the summer but only once a week in the winter.
The easiest way to determine when your lawn needs to be mowed is by looking at its height. The general rule is that if your grass reaches a height of 8 inches (20 cm) and you don’t already have us on your calendar, then it’s time to call Roper.”
What is the difference between pruning and trimming?
Pruning is a more cosmetic application, trimming creates a healthier plant. Pruning is useful for small areas of dead leaves or overgrowth. Trimming, on the other hand, is for larger branches that need to go. When thicker branches grow in too thick, it reduces the available sunlight to the base, as well as other plants.
